Open Canvas 3 Doesn't work on Vista?

So I had no choice, I had to get Vista (which I wasn't happy about at all) but now it says Open Canvas 3 won't work on it! ._.; I've had that program since 2004!! Do I have to buy an entirely new version of Open Canvas? I really am not sure if I like Vista at all... what DOES work on Vista? Sheesh...
